About Us

While our style is contemporary, we are United Methodists which means, we get the benefits of being a "connection church". We are connecting with millions of other believers (who happen to be United Methodists) across the world. Together, we can serve those in need with more impact and truly make a difference, whether right here in our area or as far away as the children missions we support in Africa. As United Methodists we are committed to operating as a community with open hearts, open minds and open doors.

Troy First United Methodist Church serves others locally as well as globally. A few of the areas that we serve locally are the Baldwin Center and The Angel Tree prison ministry. Globally we are very active with First United Methodist Church of Monrovia, Liberia and many missions there. There are also many ways that you can plug into the church family such as the United Methodist Women, Youth Education, Adult Education, Outreach, Praise Band, Music, etc.
